TORRINGTON – A gathering of family and friends for Jerry L. Deffenbaugh, 60, will be 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, at his home at 1501 East J Street in Torrington.
Jerry died July 10, 2018, at Community Hospital in Torrington and cremation has taken place. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
Jerry was born May 23, 1958, in Rawlins, the son of Roy and Gladys (Gilbert) Deffenbaugh. He grew up and received his education in Rawlins, graduating high school there. He spent time in Illinois and California before moving back to Rawlins for a short time. He married Audra Lehmkuhl. He lived in Cheyenne for 10 years before moving back to Torrington.
Jerry enjoyed mechanics, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his son George Deffenbaugh, daughters Zandra Crichton and Samantha Laurienti all of Torrington; brothers Delmer (Robin) Deffenbaugh of Torrington, Terry (DeAnna) Deffenbaugh of Rawlins and David (Carla) Deffenbaugh both of Rawlins; sisters Tracy Mahaffey of Cheyenne and Glenda Silbaugh of Kimball, Neb.; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Audra; and two brothers, Daniel and Donald Deffenbaugh.
