TORRINGTON – Torrington High School graduate and life-long Wyoming resident Jerina Curran passed away at her son’s house in Paducah, Kentucky.
Jerina was born on April 14, 1946, to Harold and Doris (Baty) Matthews at Torrington Memorial Hospital.
Jerina was a long-time employee of the Torrington Telegram and Platte County Record Times. She also spent many years caring and cooking for others at Eastern Wyoming College, Diversified Services Inc and within the Torrington School system.
She is survived by two sons Donnie (Cheryel) Matthews of Paducah, Kentucky, Chris (Heather) Matthews of Torrington, one Brother Daryl (Laurel) Matthews of Fresno, California, six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband and love of her life Milford Curran, her parents, one great-grandchild and five brothers Donald, Jack, Bernie, Jim and Bob.
There are going to be no public services and Jerina is to be interred with her late husband Milford at Valley View Cemetery.
