James Arthur Hinman was born to Donna (Noyes) and George Arthur Hinman, Jr., March 13, 1964, in Greybull. His early childhood was spent near the Big Horn Mountains, where his love for the outdoors and all outdoor sports activities began.
Jim moved to Riverton during grade school. He joined the Navy after high school, serving eight years. He married and settled in Minnesota as a welder, traveling around the United States and abroad.
After divorcing, Jim returned to Riverton. He was happy to be back in his beloved outdoors. He and his brother started their own seamless gutter company in 2019. They looked forward to offering discounts to veterans and senior citizens as a way to say thank you for their contributions to our country.
Surviving Jim are his spouse Kathy Kavanaugh of Riverton; his brother David (Kelly) of Riverton; his son Cody of Ativade, Minn., and daughter April of Monks Corner, N.C.; his parents of Roswell, N.M.; his uncles Jack and Quint Noyes of Greybull; and his aunt Nancy Vonburg of Torrington.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Scotty Hinman and both sets of grandparents.
