Historic Trek through Sioux County

HARRISON, Neb. – The Sioux County Museum here will host its 34th annual Sioux County History Trek to explore county history on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Sioux County Museum on Main Street in Harrison.
The tour this year will proceed north from Harrison on Monroe Canyon Road, entering South Dakota and ending up at the town of Edgemont. The route will feature information on Devil’s Den, Story Post Office and

Igloo, S.D.
The tour includes a visit to the Edgemont Museum, lunch at the Victory Steakhouse and a trip through Red Canyon, north of Edgemont.
Cost will be $10 for the bus, plus the cost of lunch. The tour will depart the museum at 8:30 a.m. and return approximately 4 p.m.
