RIVERTON – In the second week of the high school rodeo season, several locals finished atop the standings in Riverton over the weekend.
Haiden Thompson, Cord Herring and Broc Schwartzkopf won events at the two-day Riverton rodeo.
Thompson swept goat tying winning both days, while the duo of Herring and Schwartzkopf won team roping on Sunday.
The season began Sept. 4-5 in Douglas with Thompson and Carter Howell picking up wins.
The rodeo season continues this week with events in Jackson on Sept. 18-19.
