The Diversified Services, Inc. basketball team, including coach Deana Derr, back row, left, Danny Hernandez, Jules Carter, Robin Markham, Andrew Castro, Chris This, coach Zach Prado, Tom Bush, front row, Vanessa LaDeaux, Zach Feagler, and coach Chris Banister (not pictured: Edessa Christman) won first place at the Special Olympics on Friday in Cheyenne. The team is now headed to state competition in Laramie on May 9-11, with the first game at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 in the Field House at the University of Wyoming. DSI is currently working to raise money through donations and fundraisers to send the players to state, including a bake sale at First State Bank on Friday, May 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
