HAWK SPRINGS – The town of Hawk Springs is thrilled to announce, “the hamburger fries are back.” Despite the setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the town is ready to get back to normal.

The town wishes to express their gratitude to the many Wyoming residents who provided donations during 2020.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. and go until 7 p.m. The fry is set to take place at the Hawk Springs Community Center, located at 435 Powers Street.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, baked beans and an assortment of desserts will be served. Tickets for the event are $7 for adults, $3 for children 6t-11 and free for children six and under. 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each or $5 for six. The drawing for the winner of those who purchased tickets at the three hamburger fries will be held at the August hamburger fry on Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Parents are asked to bring their children to try out the new playground equipment.

According to a flyer for the event, “The Hawk Springs summer hamburger fries are the main source of revenue to enable the community to meet the cost of maintaining the building throughout the year. The building is available at a reasonable rental fee for family events, graduation parties, family reunions, business meetings, etc. It is one of the few facilities in the area that boasts a stage for musical and theatrical performances, as well as a sound system.”
