TORRINGTON – Eastern Wyoming College Volleyball and Phi Theta Kappa recently held the annual EWC March for Babies event, a fundraiser for the March of Dimes.
There were 40 EWC faculty, staff, students and community members who walked 3.2 miles on Thursday, April 25. The participants raised almost $1,100 to help fund the mission of the March of Dimes.
Volleyin’ for Babies was held Saturday, April 27, with 36 participants on eight teams, including two volleyball alumni, Helena Khouri (Class of 2018) and Adele Cass (Class of 2015).
“Our extended Lancer Family was able to raise over $1,500 (total) for the March of Dimes and we sincerely thank everyone who participated for your support,” said Julie Sherbeyn, EWC Student Success Center Director and event organizer.
