PUBLIC NOTICE

The Goshen County Board of Commissioners hereby gives notice of its intent to adopt regulations regarding Wind Energy Siting projects within the unincorporated areas of Goshen County, State of Wyoming.

The Board of Commissioners will consider recommendations offered by the Goshen County Planning Commission regarding the proposed rules which will be known as Appendix H to the Goshen County Land Use Plan (1977) and titled “Goshen County Wind Energy Siting Regulations”.


The proposed regulations are designed to meet the minimum requirements of Wyoming Statute. The proposed regulations provide for requirements, procedures and enforcement of Wind Energy Siting projects developed within Goshen County. The authority to enact the proposed rules are authorized by Wy Statute § 18-5-501 to 18-5-513; Wy Statute § 18-5-201 to 18-5-207; Wy Statute § 9-8-101 to 9-8-302.

Interested parties may present their views on the intended action by presenting oral or written comments to the Board of Commissioners at its meeting on July 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Commissioners Room, Goshen County Courthouse. All interest parties will be afforded reasonable opportunity to submit data, views or arguments in accordance with the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act.
