POCATELLO, Idaho – Torrington’s Logan Harris and Lingle-Fort Laramie’s Landen Fuller competed with Cheyenne Central’s team in the Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho this past weekend.
Harris took fourth in shot put at the Simplot games, which had 2,100 total athletes from 19 states and four countries. The Blazer recorded a throw of 60-6.5.
Fuller competed in the 800-meter run, clocking a time of 2:05.76. His efforts earned him a 46th place finish out of 155 competitors in the event. Fuller was also on Cheyenne Central’s 4x400-meter relay team that finished 11th in the final heat with a time of 3:34.69. The Dogger had a 51.6 second split for his 400-meter effort.
The Goshen County track and field athletes will return to competitive action on Friday at the Wyoming Invite at the University of Wyoming.
