POCATELLO, Idaho – Lingle-Fort Laramie’s Landen Fuller was the lone local athlete to join the Cheyenne Central Indians at the prestigious Simplot Games in Pocatello, snagging a top-10 finish.
After posting a time of 2:05.33 in the preliminary round of the 800-meter run, finishing 24th, Fuller earned a spot in the finals. In the finals, the Doggers dropped his time to 2:02.89, earning him a 10th place finish.
Fuller was also a leg on the Indians’ 4x400-meter relay team, which finished second in the prelims with a time of 3:32.39. In the finals, the foursome dropped its time to 3:30.68, which earned them a sixth-place finish.
Fuller and the rest of the local indoor athletes will rejoin Cheyenne Central for action in Laramie on Friday.
