Football 101 youth camp awards

TORRINGTON – More than 50 youth from the area participated in a youth camp in Torrington last week, hosted by Football 101.
On top of running through drills for three days with the Torrington High School coaching staff and several Trailblazer players, the youth got to work with Skyler Miller and Jeff Burroughs, two recent graduates from county high schools that now play football at the University of Wyoming. There was also a punt, pass and kick competition on that last day of camp for the youth in attendance.
Here are the award-earners for the camp:
6-8-year-olds

Most Improved – Jaydin Olson
Best Attitude – Avery White
9-12-year-olds
Mr. Effort – Kaden Romig
Camper of the Week – Parker Gilbert
Most Improved – Reece Grubbs
Best Attitude – Kage Gruhlke
Here are the top performers in the punt, pass and kick competition:
6-8-year-olds – 1, Asher Bumguardner; 2, Braxton Carlson; 3, Parker Ochsner.
9-12-year-olds – 1, Jackson Allen; 2, Dylan Packard; 3, Brock Knutson.
