TORRINGTON – Goshen Economic Development presented a check for $10,000 to Fisher Family Solutions, LLC to complete their construction needs. The funds are part of the Progress Program funds, from one-fourth cent sales tax for economic development in Goshen County.

Funds from the Progress Program are reinvested into local businesses for projects with economic development merit. Examples include job creation, expanding into a new market, increased payrolls, increased sales tax revenues and improvement to quality of life, according to Goshen Economic Development.

“Fisher Family Solutions is a therapeutic program that believes in changing the path for families and children. From farm animals to tend to go-karts and archery, Fisher Family Solutions has something for all kids to enjoy and get involved. It is a place for kids and families to go and have fun and learn while doing it.

They are currently doing a summer program for kids with fun, daily activities. In addition to their location on West C Street in Torrington, their Ranch facility is located one mile north of Lingle on Highway 85,” said Brayden Connour, Goshen Economic Development’s Business Development Director.
