Fee-based access for websites

TORRINGTON – Beginning today (Wednesday) the websites for both the Torrington Telegram and the Lingle Guide will introduce a pay wall structure for all content, including the e-Edition.
Since being launched in April, access to all content on both websites has been offered free of charge, to allow both readers and staff to become acquainted with the new system and the new look, Publisher Rob Mortimore said. Now, access will be available at different levels – free, metered and subscriber only.
The Telegram will offer access to one full article for all users with each publication. Additional articles will be available through the metered access or viewable by subscribers only.

Each viewer will get 10 free articles to view a month, for non-subscribers. Once the limit of 10 is reached, only a brief will be available and viewers will be asked to subscribe to see the content.
Subscribers may continue to enjoy unrestricted access to all the content on the websites.
The Telegram will continue to offer Breaking News and all severe weather information free to all users.
There are several cost-effective options to view the Torrington Telegram online – some as low as $1.25 per week.
Subscribers will continue to log in to access content using their current email and password.
For more information, contact the Telegram office at (307) 532-2184.
