CHEYENNE – Karissa Rayhill capped off the fall portion of the Eastern Wyoming College fall rodeo schedule with a win in goat tying.
Rayhill won the goat tying average in 14 seconds on Sunday at the annual Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo.

CHEYENNE – Karissa Rayhill capped off the fall portion of the Eastern Wyoming College fall rodeo schedule with a win in goat tying.
Rayhill won the goat tying average in 14 seconds on Sunday at the annual Shawn Dubie Memorial Rodeo.
Shay Hough and Kelby Eastman also scored points for the Lady Lancers, finishing in the top five in barrel racing.
Hough placed third in 33.19 seconds on two runs, while Eastman was fifth in 33.42 seconds.
As a team, the Lady Lancers scored 270 points to finish second in the final team standings. The University of Wyoming won the championship with 408.33 points.
In team roping, the Lancer duo of header Ty Chasek and heeler Clayton Symons came home sixth in the average with a time of 19.5 seconds.
In steer wrestling, Teigen Marchant was third in the average with 10.9 seconds, while Symons also finished seventh in tie-down roping in 22.7 seconds.
Symons finished ninth in the all-round standings for the weekend with 60 points.
As a team, the Lancer men finished sixth with 140 points. The University of Wyoming won the team title with 850 points, while Chadron State was second with 460. Casper College was third with 360.
The season resumes March 20-22, 2020, in Gillette.
