TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Eric Leon Clabaugh, 48, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church with Pastor Lyle Borger officiating. Eric died March 16, 2019, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., and cremation has taken place. 

Memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated. An account has been set up at Points West Bank in Torrington in care of Edith Clabaugh. The family requests those attending the service wear Broncos clothing. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com.

Eric was born August 24, 1970 in Torrington, the son of Leonard and Edith (Lampman) Clabaugh. He grew up and received his education in Torrington, graduating high school in 1989. He then went to work at the King’s Inn and then to Crazy Tony’s in Guernsey, and then to the Morrill Café in Morrill, Neb. After the Morrill Café, he started working for Deacon’s Restaurant in Torrington and was there for nineteen years.

Eric enjoyed the Denver Broncos, Star Trek, any super heroes and especially caring for his mother after his father died. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and helped with the youth group there.

Eric is survived by his mother, Edith Clabaugh of Torrington; two brothers, Terry (Tiffany) Clabaugh of Casper and Don (Marie) Clabaugh of Torrington; a nephew, Michael Clabaugh of Rapid City, S.D.; and a niece, Riley Clabaugh of Casper. 

He was preceded in death by his father.
