TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Edna Louise Fritzler, 84, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Flom officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Edna died July 30, 2017, at her home. The casket will be closed. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home. Edna was born Jan. 1, 1933 in Fort Collins, Colo., the daughter of Conrad and Louise (Bath) Kechter. She grew up in Windsor and Harmony, Colo., attending school in Fort Collins. After graduation from high school she worked for Prudential Insurance in Fort Collins. She married Conrad Fritzler Jr. on April 4, 1953, in Fort Collins. They moved to Canada to farm wheat for two years and then back to Fort Collins. They moved to Laramie, where they lived until 2012, when they moved to Torrington.
Edna enjoyed crocheting, camping and doing crossword puzzles.
Edna is survived by her husband Conrad Fritzler Jr. of Torrington; sons Rex C. (Paula) Fritzler of Glendo and Colin R. (Kimberly) Fritzler of Clifton, Colo.; daughters Julianne (George) McGinnis and Connie June (Michael) Wibbens all of Laramie; grandchildren Rex Peter Fritzler Jr., Beau James Wibbens, Eugene W. Fritzler, Michael Edward McGinnis, Katharina Fritzler, Samuel Fritzler, April Jewel Wibbens, William Tell Fritzler, J. B. Schaderer and Jacci Rossener; great-grandchildren Aiyannah Lynn Wibbens, Rhylan Elizabeth Wibbens and Ayden Fritzler. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Sterling Craig Fritzler; brothers Raymond, Lawrence, Richard and Harvey Kechter; and sister Lucille Sipes.
