TORRINGTON – Four members of the Eastern Wyoming College volleyball team were honored for their play during the season and the Region IX Tournament.
Freshmen Makenna Reinert and Fatima Ramirez were honored by the Region IX coaches following the conclusion of the regional tournament, earning spots on the All-Region Team.
Reinert led the Lady Lancers in kills with 251, kills per set with 2.73 and points per set at three.
Meanwhile Ramirez was third with 2.13 kills per set and was the team’s most efficient hitter with .233%.
Sophomores Alyssa George and Jelena Jablanov earned Region IX All-Tournament Team honors.
George scored 2.82 kills per set, 3.53 digs per set and hit .225% during the tournament. Jablanov averaged 5.53 digs and totaled 11 aces and 19 assists for the tournament.
