TORRINGTON – Grave side services for Dorothea Kay Leach, 96, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie Crowe officiating.

Dorothea died October 21, 2020 at her home. The casket will be closed. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. 

Dorothea was born December 10, 1923 in Torrington, the daughter of Charles and Ada (Fox) Goddard. She grew up in Torrington and graduated from Torrington High School.

She married Irl “Ike” Leach in the summer of 1940 and they had two sons. She worked at a judges office in Casper while Ike was in the military. Upon his discharge they returned to Torrington where she worked at the library, the school and was the office manager for Petrolane. 

Dorothea supported her sons in their activities in sports and Boy Scouts and was active in the Presbyterian Church. 

Dorothea is survived by her sister Eunice Keimig of Farmington, New Mexico; her daughter-in-law Fern Leach of Sheridan; grandchildren Jason (Mandy) Leach of Sheridan, Aaron (Jennifer) Leach of Sheridan and Stacey Leach of Spokane, Washington; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ike Leach in 1983; sons Roger and Mike Leach; brother Chet Goddard; and sister Louise Thomas.
