TORRINGTON – The afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 13, Samantha Domec was sentenced to not less than three nor more than six years in the Wyoming Women’s Correction Facility at Lusk by District Judge Patrick Korell. However, he suspended the sentence in favor of 5 years of strict probation that includes drug and alcohol treatment programs.
Domec was charged with four counts of forgery that were reduced to one count through a plea bargain, which includes restitution to Pinnacle Bank of $734. Probation includes conditions for work, and restricts possession of more than $500 in cash without approval from probation
officials.
Korell also urged Domec to work on improving relations with her mother, after reviewing domestic incidents in the probation report.
Levi Edward Dalton, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, and Wyatt J. Samson, charged with auto theft, were scheduled for sentencing on Dec. 13, but opted for plea bargains.
