TORRINGTON – Dianna F. Wismiller, 83, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Goshen Care Center.
Funeral services were Monday, July 16, 2018, at All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Torrington with the Rev. Brian Gross officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery following services.

Dianna was born Dec. 8, 1934, in Chandrinous, Greece, the daughter of Fotis and Theodora Kochiras. She grew up in Greece and lived there, where she worked on the family farm until 1962, when she immigrated to the United States with her brother George. The two siblings came to live with family.
In 1964, Dianna married Otto Lee Wismiller in Alliance, Neb. The couple moved to Torrington in 1967 and shortly after, started working on a family of their own. They had two children, John and Georgia. Otto died in 2007.
She loved gardening and flowers but most of all, she adored her two granddaughters, Savannah and Chloe.
Dianna was a member of the All Saint’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her son John (Angel) Wismiller and daughter Chloe; her daughter Georgia Woodall and daughter Savannah; her brother George Kochiras; two sisters, Pota Kochiras and Angeleki Bambaka and her great-grandson Harlan.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Otto; a brother Leonidas Kochiras and a sister Katarina Kochiras.
