TORRINGTON – Diane Elaine Goodman, 62, of Torrington passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 15, 2020, with her longtime partner, Jim Dunn.
She was born Dec. 8, 1957, to the late Oscar and Betty Johnson in Cheyenne. Diane attended Goshen Hole High School. Diane had three siblings she was very close to: James Johnson, Robert Johnson and the late Karen Figolah.
She is survived by four children from her marriage to the late James L. Goodman, Jr.: James L. Goodman III, Bryan Goodman (Lindsey), Adam Goodman (Emily), Matthew Goodman and 11 beautiful grandchildren.
Diane was an extremely loving and caring woman who was immensely proud of her family. She was a small-town girl who valued her life from the greatness in others. Diane was born to be a mother and had a wealth of knowledge in home remedies and quick fixes. In fact, she was so destined to be a mother, she took on the role with her own siblings when needed. Diane will be greatly missed, and her love can never be duplicated.
