U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Dane D. Hansen has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Hansen, the son of Dempsey and Sarita Hansen of Yoder, earned distinction as an honor graduate. A 2010 graduate of Southeast High School, Hansen completed a bachelor’s degree program in 2014 from the University of Wyoming in Laramie before enlisting in the Air Force.
To graduate, Hansen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the
Air Force.
