TORRINGTON – Students from Downtown Dance Loft competed at Spotlight Dance Cup Competition, April 7 to 9 in Gillette.
Each dancer and routine competes against an adjudicated point system. Divisions, categories and age are all different. Novice, Future Gems, Petite, Junior, Teens, and Seniors. Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, or Sapphire placement awards are given out.

Junior Division Ages 9-11: Addison Schwartzkopf Solo-Ruby and Judges Choice Award
Senior Division Ages 15-19: Jayme Rodgers Solo-Ruby and Diamond, 10th Overall
Petite Division Ages 8 and Under: Small Group-Diamond, 3rd Overall; Timberlee Easton/ Allie Edwards Duo-Ruby and Judges Choice Award: Lexi Wilkie/Ariana Posten Duo-Ruby; Allie Edwards Solo-Ruby and Judges Choice Award: Timberlee Easton Solo- Emerald, Lexi Wilkie Solo-Ruby and Spotlight Showmanship Award, Ariana Posten Solo- Emerald
