STORY, Wyo. – Dale Gene Armstrong, 75, of Story, Wyo., passed away April 27, 2019 in Sun City West, Ari. after a long illness.
Dale was born in Scottsbluff, Neb. December 15, 1943, to Wayne and Bonnie Armstrong. Dale grew up in Torrington, attended THS and married Donna Meininger after high school. They had 2 children, Barry and Tracy.
In 1987 Dale married Helen Nolan. They lived in Glenrock, Wyo. for 25 years and in 2012, they moved to Story, Wyo. where Dale was a brand inspector supervisor for District 5. He retired from the State of Wyoming in 2016 from a job that he loved for 45 years.
Dale is survived by his wife Helen, son Barry (Melissa) of Casper, daughter Tracy Starr (Kevin) of Olivia, Minn., daughters Sally Suppes (Eric) and Betsey McDonald (Chris) of Story, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin and Bryon.
Services were held in Story on May 25. Memorials may be made to Story Community Church or Legacy Pregnancy Center.
