Time changes announced

TORRINGTON – Eastern Wyoming College has announced scheduling changes for two community education classes being offered.

The Basic Self-Defense for Women class will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, at the Torrington Police Department, 436 E 22nd Ave., in Torrington. Cost for the class is $20.

Delicious Fool-proof Cinnamon Rolls will be held in Room 111 of the CTEC building on campus from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 28. Cost for the class will be $25.

Rotary Club to host wine tasting

TORRINGTONShamrock the World is the theme of the 18th annual Rotary Wine Tasting event, set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Rendezvous Center in Torrington.

Admission is $30 and attendees must be 21 or older to enter. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and the event will include a silent auction.

Proceeds will benefit Rotary International humanitarian efforts, including polio eradication, around the world.

Autoimmune workshop set

TORRINGTON – Health Thyme of Torrington and Wellness Health Fairs will host a workshop to discuss autoimmune diseases.

Join the Fight for a Cure is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23, in the Goshen Enterprise Building, 110 W. 22nd Ave., in Torrington. The workshop will include representatives of local support groups, with discussion of financial assistance for individuals affected with autoimmune diseases.

Tickets are available online at www.health-thyme.com. A portion of the proceeds will support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and HIT Autoimmune.

Game and Fish seeks public comment

LARAMIE – Torrington will be one of five host sites as Wyoming Game and Fish Department officials seek public comment on hunting seasons and regulations.

WGF officials will be at the Platte Valley Bank Community Room, 2201 Main St., in Torrington at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, to gather input on proposed big game, wild turkey, upland game bird, small game, wild bison, migratory game bird and light goose conservation order hunting seasons and the general hunting regulation.
