Clinics announce expanded hours
WHEATLAND – Banner Health clinics in Goshen and Platte counties have announced plans to offer additional hours of service during the upcoming Great American Eclipse.
Banner Health is adding additional hours at clinics in Torrington, Guernsey and Wheatland to meet a possible increase in patient demand.
The additional hours will provide patients, both local and travelers, with the option to seek medical care for non-emergent issues at a local clinic rather than the emergency department. This will help to manage the volume in the emergency department and allow them to care for the emergent and critical patients.
The Torrington clinic, located at 625 Albany Ave., will be open Aug. 18 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Aug. 19 – 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Aug. 21 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Guernsey clinic, at 1 East Whalen St., will serve patients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 21.
The clinic in Wheatland, at 1356 Shiek St., will open Aug. 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Aug. 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For more information, call the clinics at (307) 532-2107 (Torrington), (307) 836-2422 (Guernsey) and (307) 322-3861 (Wheatland).
