Burger Fry cancelled
HAWK SPRINGS – The July monthly Hamburger Fry to raise money for the Hawk Springs Community Building will not be held, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s possible the event could return in August.
The hamburger fries are primary funding source for maintenance and upkeep of the historic Community Building in Hawk Springs. Without the events, the building fund is in need of donations. Parties interested in donating may call Venita Cochran at (307) 532-5081.

Library hosts book sale
GOSHEN COUNTY – The Goshen County Library Foundation and Friends of the Library group will host a special Summer Book Sale at the Foundation’s Activity Center, 2017 East A St., in Torrington.

The pricing schedule is similar to other Library Foundation book sales:
• July 11 to July 15, all books at full, marked price;
• July 16 to July 21, all books at half price, and;
• July 22 to July 25, $10 bag sale.
Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds benefit programs and activities at the Goshen County Library.
