SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – The West Nebraska Arts Center, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, is pleased to present Colorful Minds: What Mental Health Means to Me in our Bronson Gallery.
Colorful Minds is a group, non-juried exhibit open to all art mediums and styles.
The goal of the exhibit is to bring public awareness to the stigma of mental illness through art. Many people have a preconceived notion of what mental illness looks, and this exhibit seeks to challenge that perception. Cirrus House, Inc. focuses on providing quality of life and independence for people living with mental illness in the Nebraska Panhandle through opportunities for advocacy, housing, employment, education and a peer supported community where members can find belonging and purpose.
