CHEYENNE – A Colorado man was killed Monday in a two-vehicle accident that closed portions of U.S. Hwy. 85 south of Torrington.
According to a press release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Timothy Klibbe, 44, was driving his 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on U.S. Hwy. 85 north of Cheyenne when he apparently crossed the center line and collided with a 2008 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. Klibbe was reportedly thrown from the motorcycle and fatally injured.
Klibbe was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The driver of the Trail Blazer, who was treated for minor injuries and released at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, was not identified in the press release.
