YODER – Southeast High School student Kadra Clark has been named one of three scholarship recipients by The Western Nebraska Human Resource Management Association.
Clark, who is active in FFA, 4-H, rodeo and training horses, will receive a $500 association scholarship. she plans to attend Chadron State College and study business administration.
Clark is joined by two Nebraska high school students in the honors.
Receiving a $400 award is Joel Baker, Alliance High School in Alliance. He is active in basketball, American Legion baseball, church, and President of A-Club, and plans to attend Concordia University and study business administration.
Sydney Hinze, Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, will receive $300 from WNHRMA. Hine is active in dance, DECA, drill team, FCA and Student Senate and plans to attend Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona and study business.
Western Nebraska Human Resource Management Association meets at noon on the third Thursday of the month at Regional West Medical Center. The purpose of the association is to provide educational and networking opportunities for our members in the human resource profession. At least one $500 scholarship is awarded each year to a student in or entering an accredited institution and majoring in a business-related field.
