Referencing the story in the Feb. 21 edition of the Torrington Telegram (Sexual abuse plea draws 30 years), defendant Glenn Allen Tanner entered a guilty plea to the more serious charge of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree as part of a plea arrangement and was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison.
