TORRINGTON – The Cardinals picked up their fourth win of the season Tuesday to advance to 4-0 on the young season, taking a two-game lead over the rest of the Majors.
After a scoreless first inning, both the Cards and Yankees scored a run in the second. The Yankees batted around the lineup in the third, adding four runs for a 5-1 lead heading into the fourth. The Yankees scored again and the Cardinals added three, putting the score at 6-4 heading into the final frame.
