TORRINGTON – Brian Borges, 56, passed away peacefully at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., after his siblings had visited with him and prayed for his comfort and Peace on Tuesday afternoon. 

Brian will be cremated with Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home and Crematory in Scottsbluff. Born in Sacramento, Calif., to Gerald S. Borges and the late Kay Brenda Borges, he is survived by his father and stepmother, Christina Borges, of Orlando, Fla., his sister, Kathleen Ann and Greg Guler of Windsor, Colo., and younger brother John Borges of Cheyenne. Also surviving are two nieces, Stephanie and Alicia, and three nephews, Ryan, Nicholas and Jonathon, and five grand-nieces and -nephews.

Brian grew up in La Verne, Calif., where he graduated from Bonita High School. He received his Associate’s Degree from Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington in Computer Science. 

Brian was a drummer throughout school and played professionally with Second Wind, a local Rock band. His passions were playing Texas Hold ‘Em, especially online and in Deadwood, S.D., listening to his favorite bands and cooking. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
