TORRINGTON – Our beloved Anastacia Marez Wunder passed away at the age of 64 in her own home Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Her loving family surrounded her as she went to her heavenly home.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at Lighthouse Ministries in Torrington
Anastacia was a proud mother to six children: Elvira, Bobby, Adam, Valarie, Michael and Diana; grandmother to 12 grandchildren: David, Brittany, Sami, Malik, Drake, Willow, Xander, Gabriel, Jadyn, Tyzik, Keyln and Abby, and one on the way, Delilah, and; four great-grandchildren: Addy, Avery, Ariyah and Kyson.
Anastacia was a proud conservative, who loved to do crafts, barbequing, going to the lake and even hunting. Family was everything to her and she was very proud of her children and her grandchildren. She loved everyone and treated them like family! She had such a big heart and the strength of a superhero, fighting her final battle with everything she had in her. She surpassed the odds that were given to her many times, determined that cancer wasn’t going to take her. She fought hard for 4 years until she could no longer fight. She is finally pain free and has joined her loved ones in Heaven.
Anastacia was preceded in death by her parents and one infant son. Survivors include her children and grandchildren.
