Madelon Daniels, left, and Janet Bass, co-organizers of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Book Sale at Eastern Wyoming College (EWC), stand with a silent auction item, as well as pre-wrapped “mystery books” Tuesday. The event raised $140 for the AAUW scholarship fund, and was held in conjunction with EWC Library’s Freudian Sip – a coffee bar offered during mid-terms. “As a group, we are most grateful to the EWC librarians for allowing us to piggy-back on their event. A win-win situation for both,” Bass said. The next AAUW meeting is Friday, Oct. 26, at Sweet Lou’s, at 11:45 a.m. Interested individuals are welcome.
