‘A unique and elegant experience’

TORRINGTON – The “twang” of a steel guitar resonates throughout the room, as ball gowns and cowboy boots glide across the dance floor – it’s that time of year again. Sagebrush & Roses, the Eastern Wyoming College Foundation’s annual fundraiser to benefit agriculture programs, will fill the Goshen County Fairgrounds’ Rendezvous Center with glitz, glamour and grit Saturday, Jan. 26.

“Sagebrush and Roses is a unique event that offers an elegant experience to our guests while raising funds to support the EWC Ag Department,” Committee Chair Kaitlyn Steben said. “With our students volunteering as servers, the event comes full circle.”

The event features cocktails, dinner, and dancing to live music from alternative-country band Tris Munsick and the Innocents – based out of Sheridan and with a debut album that hit No. 19 on the iTunes New Music Chart in 2014.

Tickets are on sale now at $75 each and may be purchased online at ewcsagebrushandroses.com, the EWC Office of Institutional Development, or by calling (307) 532-8397.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

“It is a fun night that folks look forward to each year, and we are so incredibly thankful for the support of this community over the years,” Steben said.
